Randal L. Walker
Randy is the Director for the Marine Extension Service
overseeing all applied research, education and outreach
programs. His current interests lie in marine aquaculture,
marine shellfisheries management, invasive species, shellfish
population dynamics, shellfish pathology, shellfish reproduction,
and habitat restoration. |

Dr. Alan
Power
Alan is the director of the Shellfish Research Laboratory.
His current interests lie in shellfish aquaculture, fisheries
management, invasive species, shellfish pathology, environmental
impact asessments and habitat restoration. |

Thomas Bliss
Tom is a public service assistant that implements research
and outreach programs relating to estuarine ecology, fisheries
management, invasive species and population dynamics. |

Patrick Swearingen
Patrick is a research technician working on a project to
determine the best method for growing single oysters and
to evaluate the economic feasibility of an aquaculture oyster
industry in Georgiaan. He is responsible for maintaining
and monitoring field trials; assisting growers evaluate
operations; disseminating findings; and promoting oyster
aquaculture. |

Corley
Brian is a research technician who is currently conducting
a geo-referenced inventory of oyster beds in Chatham County
to assist future aquaculture and restoration efforts. |

Tancy Moore
Tancy is a research technician working on documenting
the Essential Fish Habitat functions of oyster reefs.. |
|
Daniel Harris
Daniel is a research professional and coordinator for
G.E.O.R.G.I.A. the oyster restoration program in the Savannah
area. He is responsible for implementing oyster habitat
projects along coastal Georgia by galvanizing public support,
oyster shell recycling and creation of habitat sites.
He also monitors sites by conducting biological, chemical
and GIS studies. |

Anne Stahley
Anne is an outreach program asistant with the EPD's Adopt
A Stream program in Atlanta. She also spends part of her
time here on the coast coordinating the Coastal Georgia
Adopt A Wetland Program.
Anne will be on the coast on the follwoing dates:
Sept. 14-18; Oct. 1-3; Oct. 14-18; Nov. 16-22; Dec. 14-20;

Sanders
Casey is a research technician, and is part of the GEORGIA,
oyster restoration team. She is responsible for oyster
bagging events, biological monitoring at restoration sites,
as well as general public outreach in the Brunswick area.
