The mission of our unit is to develop the public's understanding and appreciation of the numerous coastal marine environments in the state of Georgia, and to foster respect for the beauty and complexity of these environments. MECA provides both day-use and residential programs to grades pre-k through high school and to college classes. Many of the classes and activities are suitable and adaptable for adult groups as well.
