Teacher Resources

Welcome to the teacher resource page!  The included curricula, and field guides were created by Georgia Sea Grant Marine Education Interns under the direction of the University of Georgia Marine Extension Service, Savannah.  The background information on coastal Georgia was written by the Marine Extension Service faculty.

There are a variety of field guides to chose from which highlight coastal Georgia flora and fauna.  The curricula page begins with a marine debris curriculum that can be modified for many grade levels.  Please stay tuned for more curricula in the future!  If you do use any of our teacher products, please drop us an email to let us know how you used them, and what your students’ response was.
