Directions:
From I-16: Exit onto Lynes Parkway East (516) to Savannah (this becomes DeRenne Ave.). Continue on DeRenne and turn right onto Truman Parkway heading South. Follow Truman to Whitfield Avenue exit and turn left at ramp traffic light. Whitfield will become Diamond Causeway. Cross the drawbridge over the Skidaway River, go past Skidaway Island State Park (on your left), going through two traffic lights. At the four-way stop, turn left onto McWhorter Dr. Continue until you reach the Skidaway Marine Science Center. The UGA Aquarium will be to your left. Parking is free. Handicapped spaces are available in front of the building.

From Tybee and Wilmington Islands:
• Take Hwy. 80 West (Victory Drive) to the Truman Parkway going South.
• Take the Truman Pkwy. to the last exit (not viewed on map) and turn left at the ramp onto Whitefield Ave. (which turns into the Diamond Causeway) and follow it to Skidaway Island.
• Cross a fixed bridge and a drawbridge before reaching Skidaway Island.
• Once on Skidaway Isl., continue through two (2) traffic lights & turn left at the 4-way stop onto McWhorter Rd.
• Follow McWhorter 4 mi. bearing left after a green field toward the UGA Marine Educ. Ctr. & Aquarium parking lot.
From Downtown Savannah (Rt. 1):
• Take Bay Street east to the end and make a left onto President Street
• Take President Street to the Truman Parkway going South (not viewed on map above).
• Take the Truman Pkwy. to the last exit and make a left at the end of the ramp onto Whitefield Ave. (which turns into the Diamond Causeway) and follow it to Skidaway Island.
• Cross a fixed bridge and a drawbridge before reaching Skidaway Island.
• Once on Skidaway Isl., continue through two (2) traffic lights & turn left at the 4-way stop onto McWhorter Rd.
• Follow McWhorter 4 mi. bearing left after a green field toward the UGA Marine Educ. Ctr. & Aquarium parking lot.
From I-16 (Rt 2):
• Exit onto Hwy. 516 EAST (Lynes Pkwy., Exit A) which turns into DeRenne Ave.
• Continue on DeRenne through seven traffic lights before reaching the Truman Parkway.
• Veer right onto the Truman Pkwy. (going south) and take it to the last exit.
• Turn left at the exit ramp onto Whitefield Ave. (which turns into the Diamond Causeway) and follow to Skidaway Isl
• Cross a fixed bridge and a drawbridge before reaching Skidaway Island.
• Once on Skidaway Isl., continue through two (2) traffic lights & turn left at the 4-way stop onto McWhorter Rd.
• Follow McWhorter 4 mi. bearing left after a green field toward the UGA Marine Educ. Ctr. & Aquarium parking lot.
From I-95 South traveling North (Rt. 3):
• Exit onto Hwy. 204 (Abercorn Extension).
• Continue on Abercorn for several miles before reaching Montgomery Cross Roads.
• Turn right onto Montgomery Cross Roads, then make a right at the third traffic light onto Waters Ave.
• Waters changes names twice (Whitefield Ave. & Diamond Causeway) before you cross a fixed and a drawbridge.
• Once on Skidaway Isl., continue through two (2) traffic lights & turn left at the 4-way stop onto McWhorter Rd.
• Follow McWhorter 4 mi. bearing left after a green field toward the UGA Marine Educ. Ctr. & Aquarium parking lot.
